Information collected

The Contact form asks for the information needed to understand and respond to a possible project.

Required form information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Service interest
  • Project stage
  • Project description or message

Optional form information

  • Company
  • Phone number
  • Budget range
  • Target timeline

If you email hello@lucianic.com directly, Lucianic receives the address you use, your message and any information you choose to include, together with ordinary correspondence and delivery metadata.

Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to host, deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, request headers, browser or device signals and security information.

Submitted enquiry information is delivered by email; the site does not place enquiries in a separate enquiry database. The application records only limited operational event codes for form protection and email delivery outcomes. Written enquiry fields, Turnstile tokens and honeypot values are not written to those application logs, and the token and honeypot are excluded from retained form values and enquiry emails.

How and why information is used

Lucianic uses enquiry information only as needed to handle the enquiry and operate the service. This includes:

  • reviewing and responding to your enquiry;
  • discussing and assessing possible work;
  • sending the customer acknowledgement and the internal admin notification;
  • protecting the form and service from spam, abuse and unreliable delivery; and
  • retaining or disclosing information where required by law.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing communications.

Lawful basis

The lawful basis depends on why the information is being used:

Steps requested before entering a contract
This applies when you ask Lucianic to discuss, assess or prepare for potential work.
Legitimate interests
Lucianic has legitimate business interests in responding to enquiries, deciding whether it can assist, securing the form, preventing spam and abuse, and maintaining reliable website and email delivery. These interests are considered against the rights of the people involved.
Legal obligation
This applies only where Lucianic must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.

Service providers and international processing

Lucianic uses a small number of service providers to operate the website and deliver enquiry emails. Information is not routinely shared with unrelated third parties.

Cloudflare and Turnstile

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website through Cloudflare Workers and related infrastructure. It may process technical request information such as IP addresses, request headers, browser or device signals and security information.

When the configured enquiry form is available, Cloudflare Turnstile performs browser-side checks and server-side token verification to protect against bots and abuse. The application may provide the requesting IP address during verification. Turnstile does not receive the Contact form’s written enquiry fields from this application, and its token is not stored in the enquiry email.

Resend

Resend is the email-delivery service provider used to send the internal admin notification and customer acknowledgement. It processes sender and recipient addresses, message content and delivery information.

Resend may process and store service data outside the UK, including in the United States.

Lucianic’s business email provider

Lucianic’s business email provider receives and stores the delivered admin enquiry email and any later correspondence.

International processing

Cloudflare and Resend operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Lucianic uses provider contractual and legal safeguards intended for international transfers where applicable.

Provider locations and subprocessors can change. Their current privacy and data-processing information is available through the links above.

Information may also be disclosed where Lucianic is legally required to do so.

How long information is retained

An enquiry that does not progress into client work, together with related correspondence, is normally retained for no more than 30 days after the last relevant contact. It should then be deleted from Lucianic-controlled active business systems.

If an enquiry progresses into a client relationship or paid work, relevant information becomes part of the applicable client and business records. Those records may be retained longer where reasonably needed for contractual delivery, legal obligations, accounting, security or dispute handling.

Provider-controlled delivery logs, backups and technical records may follow the providers’ documented retention arrangements. Lucianic cannot remove an acknowledgement from a recipient’s own mailbox, copies independently retained by that recipient, provider backups immediately, or records that must lawfully be retained.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis, UK data-protection law may give you rights to:

  • ask for access to your personal information;
  • ask for inaccurate information to be corrected;
  • ask for information to be deleted;
  • ask for the use of information to be restricted;
  • object to particular uses of information; and
  • receive or transfer certain information in a portable form where that right applies.

These rights are not absolute and legal exceptions may apply. Lucianic may need enough information to verify your identity before acting on a request.

To exercise a right or raise a privacy concern, email hello@lucianic.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You may wish to give Lucianic an opportunity to address the concern first. Visit the ICO complaint information for guidance and further information.

Cookies and analytics

Lucianic does not currently use website analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. No general consent banner is currently shown because the implemented site does not intentionally deploy consent-requiring analytics or marketing technology.

Turnstile is used only when the configured enquiry form is available. It processes technical and browser signals for security and abuse prevention, not for Lucianic’s marketing analytics. The application has no Turnstile pre-clearance configuration.

Hosting or security infrastructure may use a cookie, browser storage or a similar technical mechanism where necessary to deliver or protect the service. This notice will be reviewed if the implemented technology changes.

Changes and contact

This notice may be updated when the website, enquiry process, providers or legal requirements change. The fixed “Last updated” date above will be revised when a material change is published.

For questions about this notice or Lucianic’s use of personal information, email hello@lucianic.com.
