Business and workflow context

From detailed travel information to a coherent client journey.

The product context starts with detailed travel information that needs to be organised and presented clearly to a client.

Static or densely assembled plans can make that journey harder to follow. Itinimi was shaped around turning that material into a clear, polished itinerary without losing sight of the specialist process behind it.

The workflow came first: understand how the plan is assembled, then shape how the client receives it.

Product response

Three considerations shaped the direction.

The response connects business context, client-facing presentation and engineering choices rather than treating them as separate concerns.

  1. Workflow

    Understand the specialist process

Product direction begins with the information and sequence involved in turning a detailed plan into something ready for a client. That context guides what needs to be clear and deliberate.

  2. Client journey

Simplify the way the plan is received

Travel information is considered from the client’s perspective, so a detailed plan can be presented as a coherent itinerary with a clear reading flow.

  3. Foundations

Support the purpose with appropriate software

Engineering decisions are shaped around the product’s purpose and the workflow it supports, with maintainable foundations suited to responsible change.

What the work demonstrates

Product thinking that connects process, experience and engineering.

Itinimi is an internally developed, founder-built Lucianic product, not a client commission. It is a practical example of moving from a business process, through the client-facing journey, to proportionate engineering decisions.

See the Lucianic process
  1. Start with

    Business process

Understand the specialist work and the information it depends on.

  2. Shape the

    Client journey

Organise detailed material into a clear, considered experience.

  3. Then make

    Engineering decisions

Choose software foundations in proportion to the purpose and context.
